ONLINE EVENT WILL INCLUDE FILM DEBUT AND PANEL DISCUSSION
Today is the last chance to register for the online premier of the new film “≤” [Less Than or Equal To], produced by the Fair Housing Justice Center (FHJC).
This poignant and thoughtful new film brings to life the varied stories and voices of actual home seekers, investigators, real estate professionals, and others in a collection of provocative monologues inspired by real life stories.
The online premier screening event takes place tonight, Wednesday, September 29th at 7:00 PM Eastern via Zoom. A livestreamed panel discussion with the filmmakers and fair housing experts will follow the film screening. The event is free, but registration is required. ≤ is made possible in part by an Education and Outreach Initiative (EOI) grant from Fair Housing Initiative Program (FHIP) of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The mission of the FHJC, a nonprofit civil rights organization, is to eliminate housing discrimination; promote policies and programs that foster open, accessible, and inclusive communities; and strengthen enforcement of fair housing laws in the New York City region.
